Mormon children in Idaho chant "assassinate Obama" while riding on school bus

Shawn Larsen is the proud Mormon Mayor of Rexburg, Idaho, home to that bastion of higher learning, Brigham Young University – Idaho. Oddly enough, Mayor Larsen, who leads a town largely populated with good, honest and partiotic fellow Mormons, had to apologize after a group his town’s 2nd and 3rd grade students began chanting, “assassinate Obama” while riding on their school bus. But, I think what really precipitated Larsen’s apology was all of the bad national publicity that religious zealotry has created for his utopian town, and Mormons in general. And, oddly enough, the 2nd and 3rd grade Mormon children of Rexburg aren't the only Mormons in Idaho espousing the idea of assassinating Obama. Proud Mormon gubernatorial candidate also espoused the idea of assassinating Obama in January 2010. Incredible, see documented evidence of this insanity below:

Mormon "high" priest Rex Rammell chosen to lead Mormon revolution against America

I know this kind of thing has routinely happened among all races, creeds and religions in almost every town across America. So, I don’t mean to appear to be singling out the Mormons, who have a long history of racism and slavery and have fought 3-wars against America. But, I think the incident begs the question, how in God’s name do 6 and 7 year-old children even grab hold of the concept of assassinating Obama in the first place? Could it be that young Mormon kids are actually being indoctrinated with anti-American Mormon beliefs at such a tender age when they are particularly impressionable, or were they perhaps all children of Rex Rammell? We will never know!

Rex Rammell
As it turns out, I'm Rex's neighbor, and I'm a Mormon. Rex scares us every time he runs for governor of the state of Idaho. The man is certifiably loco. He is always running amok of the law - has been in an out of jail numerous times. He used to be an employee of BYU - Idaho (formerly Ricks College) but that didn't last long as he butted heads with the administration when he started trying to run things his own way. He has always been a misfit. He thinks he is above the law. The thing that scares all of us here in Rexburg is that unless you know Rex and his past, he can come across as very amiable and since we know how gullible voters can be, what would happen if they stupidly voted him in? Heaven help us all!! Rex doesn't even come close to representing any of us who are Mormons and residents of Rexburg. Furthermore, we were all astounded and shocked that grade schoolers would be be chanting anything so blatantly heartless and contrary to the community's deep rooted Christian values. I don't think they were all Rex's kids, but just like was stated earlier, there are always the crackpots in any community that do not represent the mainstream within that community. Rex and the kids on the bus are examples of this.

Are you from FAIR?

I hate to say this, but your comment almost sounds like a carefully scripted reply by some Mormon who just wants to do "damage dontrol". Maybe you work for FAIR, which does nothing but spew misinformation in order to paint the Mormon religion in the best possible light in embarassing situations like this.  If this is not the case, I apologize.

But, what you fail to acknowledge is that Terry Nichols was Mormon and met with Ramzi Yousef (Al Qaida who executed the 1993 WTC bombing) in Cebu City 6-months before the 1995 OKC bombong. There is also the fact that all of the anti-American, Anti-Christian, anti-Semitic and racist "Identity Christians" who were trying to overthrow the United States between 1985 and 2001 were all Mormons and they all seem to live in Idaho around Haden Lake, or north of there. This includes Dan Gayman (Church of Israel), Robert Mathews (The Order), James Ellison (The Covenant, the Sword and the Arm of the Lord), Peter Langan (The Aryan Republican Army). Additionally, all of these elements worked in unison with Al Qaida to attack the United States in an effort to attempt to fulfill the ridiculous prophesies of Joseph Smith that teach that the Mormon religion will "conquer" America and convert America into a Mormon Kingodm of Zion.

Mormons need to wake up and smell the roses, and realize what kind of a whacky religious cult Mormonism really is. They then need to work to change the culture of the religion from inside and expunge all of the idiots that create this world-class embarassment that seems to be common place for the religon, like Rax Rammell, Russell Pearce and all the others. Do you blame anyone who knows the truth about Mormonism, for just scratching their heads in disbelief?

A meeting occurred?
"But, what you fail to acknowledge is that Terry Nichols was Mormon and met with Ramzi Yousef (Al Qaida who executed the 1993 WTC bombing) in Cebu City 6-months before the 1995 OKC bombong." I understand that the _opportunity_ for a meeting existed, but can you accurately state that one _did_ occur? I'm doubtful ...

larger problems
Dude I think ther are larger problems in the worl. Like famine, disease and war. Kids in the inner city are worshipping him like the next messiah. I don,t think grade school kids are a threat to this president.

Well said "Anonymous"

Your thought provoking insight into the social mores of the "inner city" kids is most revealing. By the way, are you talking about inner-city kids in Los Angeles, or inner-city kids in Rexburg, Idaho where this happened. Also, do you think Mormon kids playfully talking about assassinating Obama, on a school bus in the same Mormon town where BYU Idaho is located, is tantamount to declaring war on America? After all, America voted Obama as their new President, not the Mormons. We already know they already have a long history of slavery and discrimination against anyone who isn't "white and delightsome".
