Mormon theology teaches that once Mormons have been bestowed with the sacred "Melchizedek Priesthood", they are elevated above all others (without the priesthood) and now have "the keys" with which to circumvent "Man's Laws" (Judeo-Christian Laws of America) and the "Laws of Moses" (Ten Commandments) when they deem it necessary to do so. Corrupt Maricopa County Supervisor Don Stapley, who comes from a family of muti-generation Mormons, must have been breathing sighs of relief last week after a series of corruption charges were dropped against him. It seems that the corruption charges previously levied against him were dropped on a technicality after it was discovered that the County financial disclosure laws were not brought in compliance with the State of Arizona's financial disclosure laws. Consequently, it turns out Stapley's own failure to bring Maricopa County laws into compliance with State of Arizona disclosure laws yielded a situation where it was be impossible for him to be in compliance with the law (because they didn't exist). I guess that pretty much epitomizes how Mormons are protected from danger and kept  out of harm's way once they have been elevated to "man-Gods".

Stapley and all of his other "priesthood buddies" must have had quite a chuckle in their secret meetings, that is until he was arrested again Monday morning. That's when the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) arrested again, only this time on NEW fraud charges that are unrelated to the previous charges. Parhaps this explains why the East Valley power structure, which is dominated by the Mormon religion, is always making trouble for Joe Arpaio and the MCSO. This time the charges include fraud and theft relating to funds collected for him to run for President of the National Association of Counties. And, once again Sheriff Joe Arpaio is earning his title as the "Toughest Sheriff in the United States", adn also one who has one of the highest levels of integrity of any Sheriff in the United States as well. But, apparently Stapely didn't concur because after being arrested for the second time, an exasperated Stapely exclaimed, "You've got to be kidding me". What's a "Man-God" to do when one is continually harassed in such a petty manner by decadent gentiles who don't understand the way of the Mormons? This is so exasperating!
