The Announcement of the Universal Apostasy.

 It is a most startling announcement with which the Prophet Joseph Smith begins his message to the world.  Concerning the question, he asked God--"Which of all the sects is right, and which shall I join?" he says:

The secret Mormon prophecy known as "Daniel's Prophecy of the Rise of the Kingdom of God in the last Days" teaches that Mormons are not Christians at all, they will vanquish Christianity and convert American into their own Mormon kingdom of Zion. Further, this same Mormon theology is still taught by the "mainstream" Utah Mormons even today and is still considered canon by the Utah Mormon religion today.

Mormons have spend a signficant amount of time and money making sure that certain "alternative forms of marriage" never become legal and therefore never pose a threat to "decent society". In the case of Proposition-8, the Mormon religion has garnered its resources against "Gay Marriage" because Mormons believe that "Gay Marriage" poses a serious threat to "Family". And, everybody knows that "Family" is the keystone of the Mormon culture.
