Freemasonry

Freemasonry was Stolen by Joseph Smith, Bastardized and Converted into Mormon Temple Rituals in 1844

Joseph Smith's father, Joseph Sr., was a Mason and is the person responsibble for introducing both of his sons, Hyrum and Joseph, to Freemasonry. In fact, Hyrum was allegedly named after Hyrum Abiff, of Masonic lore. Between 1842 and 1844, because his Mormon religion had no real formal body of rituals or symbology, Smith formed a Masonic Lodge in Nauvoo, Illinois specifically so that he could learn the rights, rituals and symbology of the Freeemasons.
