
Terry Nichols, who is Mormon, traveled to Cebu City, Philippines in November of 1994, 6-months before the April 19, 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Nichols wife, Marife Torres, who was finishing up with college in Cebu City had friends who were associates of Al Qaida terrorists Ramzi Yousef and other Islamic militants.

During the entire time the Government was investigating the Oklahoma City bombing, Orrin Hatch, the Mormon Senator from Utah, was the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which oversees the Justice Department and the FBI. Further, by the time of the Oklahoma City bombing, the FBI's management was dominated by Mormons and approximately 40% of FBI management positions were filled by Mormons.
